 Team Leader - Non Booking An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Temporary Staffing Service further to a review of the service.  A number of new posts are being advertised to support the expansion of the team to support and enable the effective deployment of temporary staff across the Trust.A key aim for the department is to support the reduction of agency spend across the Trust and increase the number of staff registered with our internal staff bank providing flexible staff cover arrangements to both clinical and non clinical areas. The TSS team is split into two teams with one focussed on booking of workers and the other on non-booking which includes management of invoices, reporting requirements (external and internal), mandatory training, complaints and conduct issues relating to agency and bank workers. This new team leader role will work closely with the TSS Manager, as well as trust-wide colleagues, professional leads and external agencies leading the day-to-day operational delivery of TSS services within the non-bookings teams.   The main duties for the role are detailed below; Managing the TSS non-bookings team on a daily basis to ensure the provision of a quality administration service for the trust, reviewing tasks and priorities within the team on a regular basis.Attend weekly internal meetings alongside the TSS manager to help progress the temporary staffing agenda.Management of the timely processing/coordination/payment of agency invoicesDelivery of standard and ad hoc external (NHSI) and internal reports by required deadlinesCoordination of TSS worker mandatory training requirements and development of plans to increase compliance in partnership with the TSS Manager and Learning and Development team.Lead in the investigation of complaints and queries An essential part of the role will be to liaise with and support teams across the Trust, helping to resolve issues and leading the growth of the bank in line with local and national requirements. As such, you must have the ability to establish strong working relationships with medical and non-clinical colleagues quickly, effectively and at all levels.  Strong communication, analysis, and organisational skills will be crucial, as will the ability to multitask, manage your own workload in a proactive and effective manner, and to work under your own initiative.
