An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Talent & Resourcing Officer to join their Company. With a large field base of intermittent merchandisers, installers and subcontractors we need you to help them source more fantastic individuals to work on projects for them! You will work closely with your colleagues to provide an effective, efficient and very pro active Recruitment service (including great Talent Management processes) to the business to ensure that they attract, recruit and retain the best available people in the installations/merchandising sectors. You will take recruitment responsibility for the South of England. This role will primarily be based from their Dunstable Depot with the requirement to recruit across the south of England as required. The successful candidate will be required to be pro active in engaging predominantly installations subcontractors and merchandisers. A background in industrial recruitment, labour/Government agency recruitment/shop-fitting background is therefore desirable but not essential. Key Purpose: * Act as the main point of contact for recruitment in the South of England. Recruitment of Installations & merchandising personnel, particularly focused on the SE Regions of the UK. * Implement innovative advertising ideas, seeking new ways of recruiting installations and merchandising personnel. Proactive head hunting. * Work from the Dunstable Depot (as a base) but must be able to travel and attend Head Office in the North West as required for training and/or updates. * Contact potential candidates about roles (both speaking to applicants and also actively head hunting candidates), ensuring all candidates meet specific requirements. * Full recruitment cycle through to taking on successful candidates, ensuring all paperwork is correctly completed and submitted to the office. * Ensure clear, regular, concise and detailed update reports to the HR & Recruitment Teams. * Work with the Northern counterpart to ensure all recruitment activities are managed. To cover in each other’s absence / holiday cover where required. * First-Class communication and relationship building skills. * A proven track record of successfully recruiting in this sector (or very similar sector). * Ability to illustrate strong time management and prioritisation skills. * Manage any client/field/office issues effectively and in a calm and timely fashion. * Illustrate a clear passion for Talent Management and Recruitment. * Strong MS Office and systems skills. * This is a role where you will be expected to confidently engage with and influence senior stakeholders.
