You will be supported to complete your simulation training and have the opportunity to complete your Post Graduate Certificate in Education.Our large facility is versatile and covers everything from a critical care unit and clinical ward to a home environment and is also utilised to facilitate learning and simulation to a number of external organisations and private companies. Who Are We Looking For?The School is seeking a talented individual to join the Simulation and Clinical Skills Team as a Child Health Teaching Associate  to provide support for delivery of simulation and clinical skills across our programmes, together with related tutorial activity, student assessment as well as CPD activity and associated administrative activities. The clinical skills and simulated practice LTA centres round the undergraduate programmes to ensure the nursing and midwifery students are well prepared for clinical practice. We are seeking an individual who has the knowledge, skills, experience and ability to teach a variety of clinical skills commensurate with pre-registration nursing and midwifery education.  Applicants should be a current  NMC registrant, have a degree in nursing or midwifery and have current clinical practice experience.  The teaching associate will be part of the Simulation and Clinical skills team and will be based within the Simulation Centre at our Sighthill Campus.Edinburgh Napier University is committed to the creation of an inclusive culture.How Will We Reward You?The University offers an extensive personal benefits package, as well as discounted membership to our innovative gym & leisure facilities at the Sighthill campus.  Interviews will likely be held in late April View full job description
