Technical Project ManagerMaidstoneA GBP 30:55kVR/01933RProject Manager to deliver change projects across both technology and business functions. Needs a technically:minded, detailed:oriented individual. An excellent communicator who will drive a project to completion, take personal responsibility and pride in delivery.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Project Manager will successfully deliver customer:facing and internal roadmap projects. Responsibilities will include: :* Definition of the project scope and objectives* Direct liaison with clients* Developing a project plan and associated schedules, etc.* Matrix managing internal resources and third parties* Progress tracking and reporting, including RAID registers, gate and quality assurance reviews, etc.* Stakeholder management of the internal and external management teams* Closure of the project to formalise acceptance of the project deliverables and release project resources* Support development of business cases with the business sponsorsThese responsibilities will be supported by the creation, maintenance and ownership of:* Project initiation documentation* Risk Strategies specific to a given project* Regular issues management meetings, actions and hands on resolutions where possible* Regular status reporting which must be clear, concise and relevant* Business analysis as required to support gaps in the project* Daily logs* Project schedules which are created, maintained and accurate* Project definitions and product definitions agreed with stakeholders and product management functions* Frequent, clear and plain communications with clients and internal stakeholders via phone, email and formalised reportingQUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE and EXPERIENCERequired* Minimum 3 years project management experience* Delivery of multiple, complex projects* Initiation of Projects including governance structures, reporting procedures, etc.* Planning and Reporting to a high standard* Stakeholder management and collaborative working* Proven experience working with software development teams* Understanding of both waterfall and Agile SDLCs* SCRUM or Kanban experience (either as a project manager utilising Agile delivery or a member of an Agile team)* Able to communicate at both executive and technical levelsDesirable* Experience in financial services/ payments industry* E:commerce or retail experience* 24/7 Operations experience* Experience of operating within a PMO* Experience working in an ITIL environmen* Any exposure to Payment terminals, Payment Processors, Gateways or Acquirers would be an advantage.SKILLS and VALUESRequired* Certified Project Management Qualification (Prince2 Practitioner, PMI, Agile)* Educated to degree level or equivalent professional experience* Experience using Microsoft Project* Experience using Microsoft Visio* Expert in ExcelDesirable* TFS* JIRA / Atlassian Toolset* Agile certification (SCRUM or Kanban)WORKING CONDITIONSSome international travel may be required (anticipated to be restricted to the EMEA region).
