JOB PROFILE AND SPECIFICATION Rigton Insurance Services LtdGeneral Responsibilities and Objectivesº To administer and service existing insurance clients, which includes but is not limited to, renewal administration, preparation of presentations to insurers, negotiating premiums with underwriters, processing adjustments and preparing client reports and other documentation. º To provide administrative support to Account Executives for the retention, maintenance and growth of their client accounts and to assist them in meeting monthly and annual targets.º Cross-sell insurance and approved non-insurance products according to the demands and needs of the existing clients and where required, assist in the securing of new commercial business from client referrals or leads generated by the Company. º To maintain thorough and accurate computer records of all events during the renewal and new business process. º Foster good working relationships with all insurers. º Ensure standards of service to customers are in accordance with the standards laid down by the department and Rigton Insurance Services Ltd in general along with FCA regulatory rules and guidelines, particularly recognising the obligation to Treat Customers Fairly (TCF).º In conjunction with Directors, Managers and other staff, build a positive culture and team philosophy of trust, honesty and openness within the organisation. º Carry out any task or duty reasonably requested by your manager. Key Skills & Experienceº Competent Business Letter Writing Skillsº Office experience preferable but not essentialº Technically competent on Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook programsº Good level of numeracy and spellingº O Level or GCSE passes at English Language and MathsCore Attitudes & Essential Requirementsº Excellent at building rapport and developed client relationshipsº Good negotiation skillsº Good sales skillsº Energy, enthusiasm and driveº Good written communication skills and the ability to deliver information in a clear, concise and informative way. º Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within and outside the organisation.º The ability to have a flexible approach to working hours to meet the demands of the job.º Good organisation skills.º Exceptionally accurate and thorough. º The ability to remain calm under pressure. Desirables / EssentialsEssentialº Candidate must reside within reasonable travelling distance to our office (i.e North Leeds)Desirable º Willing to take Institute ExaminationsAnticipated Packageº Salary range £14,000 - £18,000 per annum (dependent upon experience and qualification)º 20 days holiday per annumº Working hours 09:00am - 17:30pm (Monday to Friday)º Monthly bonus scheme based on lead conversionº Contributory Company Pension Scheme (following probationary period)º Private Medical Insurance (following probationary period)                                                                    S/Human Resources/Job Profiles/Trainee Account Handler              Page 1 View full job description
