This is a permanent full time role working Monday - Friday 8:00  - 17:30. This is to include assisting with the preparation and administration of monthly applications and sub-contractor accounts in line with our contractual obligations and Commitments to Subcontractors.  In addition, the support and assistance in ensuring cost reports and the like are managed, completed on time and monitored.  Understand, implement and adhere to company SHEQ policy and strategyKey Responsibilities:To assist the QS with commercial administration and management on a number of live projects or projects at pre-construction phaseTo measure all works accuratelyAssist QS department in the preparation of final accountsTo attend college or further education (where offered or applicable) in line with company proceduresSub-contract procurement and commercial managementManagement and control of sub-contract accounts and variation accountsChange management controlGeneral day to day administrative dutiesPreparation of documentation and the like for valuation, procurement or commercial administrationAssisting and liaising with the buyers on materials procurement and buying opportunitiesTo support the QS in the management the day to day cost control, monitoring and reportingMaximise value and minimise costDevelop an understanding of the designated contract, specification and pricing ensuring compliance with conditions throughoutAssist the QS with subcontractor selection and ensure the chosen subcontractor has the appropriate order and information to carry out their workMeasure progress, assist in submitting valuations, final accounts and retention release and monitor receipt of payment in a timely mannerSufficiently manage the financial aspects of the project to ensure the correct safety equipment is used at all timesBe responsible for your safety and others around youAttend project and company related meetingsTo supervise with all staff, clients, consultants and residents in a professional mannerAny other reasonable management requestFor more information about Keepmoat Regeneration please visit: What we are looking for:GCSE Maths & English Construction based BTEC or NVQHND/ HNC Level, in a relevant construction acknowledged course.Competent with all Microsoft packages and ITWhy work for us?At Keepmoat Regeneration we pride ourselves on being a great place to work.
