Nature of the work: Day to day control of warehouse administrative duties First line to customer services, and customer / distributor liaison Support for warehouse operators in warehousing duties Required Duties and Tasks Expected Business Results: Efficient and effective control of warehouse administration leading to strong supplier / customer relationships 100% Customer satisfaction in delivery of goods Clear communication with rest of staff promoting awareness of issues and teamwork in resolving potential problems Major Tasks: Dispatching of goods and ensuring relevant paperwork raised and issued with consignment Timely booking of carriers for pick ups of European and UK orders Authorisation of carriage invoices, maintaining control of carriage invoices through upkeep of haulage reports Completion of Dangerous Goods Notes Answering carriage queries from customer services Price comparisons for transport costs Transport planning of containers inbound and freight outbound Filing of invoices with relevant picking notes on a weekly basis Support for warehouse operators in picking and packing of orders Customs clearance via internet Accountabilities: Direct report to distribution & warehouse manager, accountable for accuracy and timeliness of warehouse administration...View full job description
