HR Administrator / Human Resources Assistant / iTrentRedhill, Surrey£22,000 - £24,000Our client supplies water to more than 670,000 people in East Surrey, and parts of West Sussex, west Kent and south London.They now have an opportunity for a HR Administrator to join their team in Redhill and provide effective and efficient administration support to the HR Department. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the employee database and personnel files, processing starter and leaver administration, the administration of all employee correspondence including terms and conditions booklets, the Westfield cash plan, Long Service Awards and you will also assist with training administration. Working closely with payroll, you will ensure payroll procedures are completed accurately and prepare the correspondence for salary reviews and bonuses. You will also assist with recruitment and selection administration which will involve regular liaison with external recruitment and advertising agencies, arranging interviews and maintaining and administering all recruitment records. In addition to core responsibilities you will support the Payroll Supervisor, Training and HR Coordinator and the Group HR Manager with adhoc various projects.The successful candidate will have previous experience of providing administration support in a HR Department, which will be supported by knowledge of HR systems and procedures and a good level of IT competence, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel. Our client are encouraging applications from candidates with a GSCE (or equivalent qualification) at grade C or above in English and Maths, along with excellent communication skills on all levels.
